1. WHO WE ARE
Mentaverse ("we", "us", "our") operates the game and website accessible at mentagame.com and play.mentagame.com. For privacy inquiries contact: piglicker75@gmail.com
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account information: When you register you provide a username and optionally an email address and password. If you sign in with Google we receive your Google profile name, email address, and Google account ID. If you connect a Solana wallet we receive your public wallet address and an email address (required for wallet-based accounts).
Game state: Your in-game progress — ship position, cargo, fleet composition, credits, installed modules, planet ownership, mission history — is stored on our servers so it persists across sessions and devices.
Blockchain data: Solana wallet addresses and NFT mint addresses associated with planet ownership are stored on-chain and in our database. Blockchain transactions are public by nature.
Technical data: Standard server logs including IP addresses, timestamps, and request metadata. These are used for security and reliability only and are not linked to marketing profiles.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- Authenticate your account and maintain your login session
- Save and restore your game progress across devices
- Associate NFT planet ownership with your in-game account
- Respond to support requests sent to our contact email
- Detect and prevent cheating, abuse, and security threats
- Improve game performance and fix bugs using aggregated technical data
We do not use your data for advertising, do not build marketing profiles, and do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party.
4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Cloudflare: Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare processes network traffic on our behalf. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Google Sign-In: If you use "Sign in with Google", Google authenticates you and shares your name, email, and account ID with us. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Solana: Wallet connection uses browser-based wallet extensions (e.g. Phantom, Solflare). We do not control those extensions. All on-chain transactions are public on the Solana blockchain.
5. DATA RETENTION
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time by emailing piglicker75@gmail.com. Upon deletion, your username, email, password hash, and game state are permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Blockchain records (NFT ownership, wallet addresses) are immutable and cannot be deleted from the Solana blockchain.
6. SECURITY
Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2-SHA256 with 100,000 iterations — they are never stored in plain text. Session tokens are signed JWTs with a 30-day expiry. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not store private keys or seed phrases.
7. CHILDREN
Mentaverse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to restrict or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email piglicker75@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. COOKIES
We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We use localStorage (not cookies) to store your session token locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device except as part of authenticated API requests to our own servers.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Mentaverse after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
